Editorial and peer-review service

  • Editorial service for interdisciplinary neuroscience and brain-science journals.
  • Reviewer for scientific journals, federal funding programs, and university research competitions.
  • Member of the GSU Internal Grants Peer Review/Panel Board since 2018.
  • Reviewer and panel participant for Brains & Behavior seed-grant activities.

  • Executive Committee member, Department of Physics and Astronomy (2019–2025).

  • Organizer and chair of BrainModes 2015 and BrainModes 2019.
  • Co-organizer and chair of the 2019 APS Focus Session, “Physics of the Brain: Structure and Dynamics.”
  • Organizer of the NeuroPhysics and Systems Neuroscience Symposium 2022 and Atlanta Functional Neuroimaging Workshop.

Public outreach

  • Georgia Science Olympiad Regional Tournament physics-event service across numerous years from 2008 through 2025.
