Fully computerized thin film spray coating machine for dye-sensitized photovoltaic devices Spray coating is one of the methods that deposit thin film semiconductor layer on to the Conducting Tin Oxide (CTO) glass plates. Titanium dioxide (TiO2), Tin oxide (SnO2) and Zinc oxide (ZnO) mostly deposit using this method for dye-sensitized photovoltaic devices and related researches. The method, which deposit the TiO2 thin films to produce solid-state photovoltaic cell were described in K.Tennakone et.al [1,3]. It consist three steps as follows. (1) Spraying of the solution on to the heated glass plates (2) Sintering the samples in a furnace (3) Removal loose crust on the sintered surface by wiping. For completing the film growing the above steps needs to be repeat at least 20 times. The automated machine that I produced does all steps automatically. User can set all parameters like plate temperature, spraying time, furnace temperature on the computer screen.
