Abstract Submission

Abstract Submission Deadline: January 15, 2006

One page (8.5 x 11) abstract using (not less than 11 point and single space) MS Word file with 1 inch margins should be submitted to Viraj. The abstract template can be downloaded here. Authors should indicate title, name of all authors, affiliation, address, fax number and email. Presenting author should be underlined. Please ensure that the word "QWIP 2006 Abstract" is in the subject line of your e-mail.

Notification of Acceptance/Rejection: February 15, 2006

Full-length Manuscript should be submitted during Workshop. Detailed instructions for preparing full-length manuscripts are available here.

Accepted papers after a peer review will be published in a special issue of Infrared Physics and Technology.

Colored pages in the article will cost extra (should be paid directly to Elsevier for reproduction) as follows: Euro 635.00 for the first colored page, Euro 318.00 per colored page thereafter (excluding VAT). These costs will be the authors responsibility. For each contribution containing one or more colored pages, 100 complimentary reprints will be supplied by the Elsevier.

Format:

The workshop is intended to provide a forum where ample time is allotted for presentation and discussion. The number of participants is limited to facilitate this goal. A good/basic prior knowledge of QWIP is assumed, which will be covered in some of the tutorials.
